2019 FeyeCon ScCO2 Spray-dryer

The supercritical CO2 spray dryer has no phase difference between the fluid state and the gas state. The CO2 is subtracted from a CO2 gas bottle and is pumped into the system. In the production lines it can be heated to the correct temperature and pressure to achieve supercritical conditions. The supercritical CO2 does not contain any humidity and enters the drying vessel via a spray nozzle. • Design pressure: 200 bar • Design temperature: 80°C • Maximum operating pressure: 170 bar • Maximum operating temperature: 80°C • Minimum operating temperature: 30°C* • Maximum CO2 flow rate: 1200 kg/h • Maximum suspension flow rate: 100 ml/min • Regeneration vessel Volume 25 litres, Purpose: The vessel is intended to be filled with bags with zeolite, to absorb water from CO2. • Spraying vessel Capacity Volume 12 litres.
